Children’s and Family Programs

Children’s Adventure Programs are offered throughout the summer months for youth ages 7-12. Children learn about plant and animal life, ecology, and how to become life-long “naturalists” through hands-on activities and exploration of the Gardens. Programs are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to noon on a weekday, except for the final program, which is a Night Hike. The cost to attend summer programs is $5.00 per child for GWG members and $8.00 for non-members. Space is limited and reservations are required. See our calendar for a listing of classes.
