Jazz Brunch - SOLD OUT

A leisurely Sunday afternoon at the Gardens is the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day, especially when a delicious meal is on the menu! Treat mom to brunch at 11:00 a.m. when Sharon Robbins and the de Ja Blue jazz trio kick off the festivities with some spirited tunes. Chipmunk Garden Catering, our in house-concessionaire, will serve up a savory smorgasboard of shrimp grits, cajun egg casserole, creamy chicken and rice, and carrots with buttered peas and mushrooms. There'll also be a sampling of sweets: cinnamon rolls, chocolate cake, and peach cobbler. Cost is $20 for GWG members and $25 for non-members (plus applicable tax). Tuesday Tea: "Derby Tea" - SOLD OUT

Horse racing fans will enjoy the festivities of this tea celebrating the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Day. Enjoy specialty teas, gourmet scones, finger sandwiches, and an array of scrumptious desserts in the Magnolia Room or on the Garden veranda (weather permitting). Tea time is 3:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Price for GWG Members is $15 and Non-Members $18 (plus applicable tax). Seating is very limited so make your reservations early by purchasing tickets online or by calling 501-262-9300/800-366-4664.

Books and Butterflies - Meet the Author

Butterfly lovers won't want to miss this opportunity to meet and greet Lori A. Spencer, author of the book Arkansas Butterflies and Moths. The professional entomologist, lepidopterist, and interpreter will be in the Pratt Welcome Center from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to share her love of butterflies and to sign copies of her 300 page guide book. A powerpoint presentation is planned for 10:00 a.m. A limited supply of her books will be on hand for purchase.

The Art of Recycling for the Garden

Kandy Jones, alias the Garage Sale Queen, will be in the Magnolia Room from 10:00 a.m. to noon sharing her "Art of Recycling for the Garden." The well-known Little Rock artist is recognized for creating unique art and for helping others get in touch with their creativity. Her mosaic art is featured exclusively at the Clinton Museum Store; and she has appeared numerous times on KATV Channel 7's Daybreak sharing her unique art and garage sale tips. Jones will give a powerpoint presentation and a demonstration to inspire the artist in you.

Group Tour at Garvan Gardens

With spacious garden entrances and turning radiuses specially designed with group tours in mind and complimentary admission for motorcoach drivers and escorts, Garvan Woodland Gardens is a must for your next tour booking. We are centrally located in the Mid South, just 5 hours from Branson, Missouri; 4 hours from Dallas; 3 hours from Memphis; and 7 hours from Kansas City and St. Louis.

Garvan Woodland Gardens is a member of the American Public Gardens Association, American Bus Association, and National Tour Association.

Hours of Operation:

  • Garvan Woodland Gardens is open 7 days a week:
  • Summer Hours: April 1 - October 31 (9 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
  • Winter Hours: November 1 - March 31 (10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
  • The Garden is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and the first two weeks in January.
Group Tour Reservations

Group Rates:

  • With prior reservation, $6.25 (price includes tax) per person for groups of 20 or more non-GWG members via one form of payment. Two weeks notice preferable.
  • Guided Tours - A guided walking tour for groups or individuals is available for $37.98 (price includes tax) per Docent. Reservations for Docents must be booked two weeks in advance and prepaid.

Group Policies:

  • Reservations - Advance reservations for groups of 20 or more to receive group rate.
  • Guided Tours - A guided garden walking tour for groups or individuals is available for $37.98 (price includes tax) per Docent. Reservations for Docents must be booked & prepaid at least two weeks in advance.
  • Payment - With reservations, admissions may be paid upon arrival or prepaid.
    Customized catering must be confirmed two weeks in advance by deposit.
  • Cancellation - A minimum of 72 hours required to cancel a tour or a Docent.
    Catering must be canceled one week in advance for reimbursement of deposit.
  • Comp Policy
  • Miscellaneous - Garden is ADA accessible.
  • Golf cart rides available on a "first come, first served" basis at $6.48 (price includes tax) per seat in addition to the admission. Individuals may purchase these tickets at the admission counter on day of arrival. Seating is limited.

Motorcoach Accessability:

  • Extra-wide turning radiuses and no backing necessary.
