Evans Celebration Garden

Connecting the multi-functional Millsap Bride’s Hall and the exquisitely designed Anthony Chapel is the quaint Evans Celebration Garden, created as a picturesque link between the two structures.

The tranquil sound of water cascading over boulders at the south end of the garden offers visitors a sense of peace and tranquility as they stroll along the stone pathways; however, the focal point of the celebration garden is an arched, stone bridge that carries garden guests over a meandering streambed, as it trickles effortlessly down a ravine into nearby Lake Hamilton.
Adding to the ambience of the celebration garden are two small lawns designed in a tiered, circular configuration – the ideal setting for small ceremonies or outdoor receptions.

Shades of blue and magenta hydrangeas surround the lawns in early summer, adding subtle color to the fuss-free landscaping that includes ornamental grasses, ferns and low-growing junipers.

Hot Springs residents Bob and Sunny Evans donated the funding to construct the intimate garden and were the first to celebrate its creation when they renewed their wedding vows as part of the Anthony Chapel dedication ceremonies on September 30, 2006.
